Pangulong Guro Krishna Godhania
Krishna Godhania has more than twenty-seven years experience of the martial arts, and has spent the past eighteen years studying Eskrima in the Philippines. He has an international reputation for being one of the leading teachers of the Filipino martial arts and conducts seminars in many countries across Europe and beyond.
Not only is Krishna the eskrima technical editor and columnist for Martial Arts Illustrated magazines but has had articles published in, Fighting Arts International, Combat, Black Belt, Inside Kung Fu, Blitz and Fighters magazines, and has been featured in various Filipino martial arts books such as the Masters of the Blade and Filipino Fighting Arts and also published his own book titled Eskrima Filipino Martial Art.
Krishna in January 1992, on a training trip to the Philippines met Grandmaster Abner Pasa leading exponent of the art eskrima. GM Pasa is the founder of the Balitok Eskrima system and the chief instructor of the Warriors Eskrima Club in Cebu City. Krishna staid on in the Philippines and regularly returned to train and was accepted as a closed door student of GM Pasa. Not only was he taught by GM Pasa's vast knowledge that he gained from some of the leading GM of Cebu the cradle of Eskrima but also was introduced and able to learn from other teaches such as Fortunato "Atong" Garcia (Yaming Arnis), Tanny Campo (Pangamut), Liborio Heyrosa (Balintawak Arnis), Vicente Karin (Doce Pares Eskrima) and Romy Macapayal (Kalis ilustrisimo). Krishna lived with these Masters- so that he could experience eskrima as a way of life.
